ABOUT DR. ROSENBLOOM:
Dr. Marissa Rosenbloom is a small animal veterinarian who specializes in Veterinary Behavior Medicine. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and has cultivated her focus in behavior medicine throughout and after veterinary school. Dr. Rosenbloom initially worked in general practice doing medicine, behavior, and surgery; while continuing her education of the behavior sciences and the human-animal bond. She has honed her knowledge of behavior medicine while taking a year-long behavior veterinary medicine mentorship course with multiple world renowned board-certified veterinary behaviorists, including Dr. Kersti Seksel. Dr. Rosenbloom has had multiple years of one-on-one mentoring with a behavior veterinarian practicing for over 30 years, has taken vast amounts of behavior continuing education, has completed a Masters course in Dog Aggression, and is a Certified Fear Free Professional. These courses were all dedicated to the study of animal behavior, behavior modification and training methods, and focused on the treatment of animals with anxieties, fears, phobias, aggression, reactivity, alzheimer’s-like issues, and obsessive compulsive disorders. Dr. Rosenbloom is enthusiastic about always continuing to learn, is passionate about educating others, and loves helping improve the human-animal bond and the quality of life of animals and their families!
Dr. Rosenbloom is highly collaborative and works together with your general practice veterinarian and any positive reinforcement trainers you may have. We will form a supportive team, coming together on every patient to ensure our clients get the very best result.
